October 11, 200817 yr TSN reports that Panthers D Bryan McCabe may have sustained a broken back in Florida's season opener against the Hurricanes. X-rays showed at least one fractured vertebrae, and McCabe will have an MRI on Saturday to reveal more about his injury

That's a horrible choice of words by TSN.

October 12, 200817 yr So much for the "great defense" we were supposed to have. The defense actually played great. T-VO just allowed too many stupid goals. If you saw the first period, they scored 2 goals, and took 4 shots, so that's not the defenses fault Didn't catch the game. When I saw "6-4" I just assumed the defense had an off game, my bad. Probably going tonight though, and they better win. Hey, if you want to go to future games, go to panthersfirsttimer.com for 2 free tickets. Im using this for tonight. Not available for tonight anymore but there's other games available Wish I would have seen this post earlier, lol. Didn't end up going tonight. So far, in terms of Panthers tickets, I bought one of those packages that gives you 5 games for the season. I'll try out that site though.
October 12, 200817 yr Author Saw over at On Frozen Pond, McCabe had an MRI today, and the results of that came back negative. He's got a contusion and a lower back sprain, and he's being listed as day-to-day. (But then again, aren't we all?)

Awesome corner seats, in the Panthers Shoot Twice Section. You get to see the plays from up close and youre not behind the goal, so its much better. When the Panthers shoot at the other end, you cant see sh*t, but its worth it. Great game, so fun, but didnt get a cowbell since I was there late. But they definitely didnt give out 15,000 cowbells

OMG you know how crazy I went when I heard this? I was going off on any last post who believed that trash on the Panthers Message Boards... its good to see somebody actually understands science... you cant break your god damn back. I knew it was trash from the minute I read it. And the new rule... the Panthers didnt use it really... they just didnt say anything until it was official. They should make a rule for no speculating lol. That is such irresponsible reporting... especially saying "broke his back".
