November 5, 200817 yr Sununu losing his seat in NH...another lost seat for the R in the Senate I'm not surprised. As long as the Dems don't reach 60 senators, the Republican party shouldn't be too disappointed.
November 5, 200817 yr BTW, why did PBC have to overly complicate their ballot...again? Can you elaborate?
November 5, 200817 yr Author Sununu losing his seat in NH...another lost seat for the R in the Senate There's a sign of how bad it's gotten. Sununu is basically a moderate. Same with Chris Shayes who was also in trouble. But yeah it looks like they won't reach 60 in the Senate.
November 5, 200817 yr OK, some more calls for 9 PM: -Obama gets WI, MI, MN, NY, RI -McCain gets KS, WY, ND
November 5, 200817 yr So it comes down to Colorado, correct? If Obama wins Colorado this thing is just about 'officially' over.
November 5, 200817 yr MSNBC has Obama with leads in FL and NC (too close to call), and McCain leads in VA, IN, and MO (too close to call).
November 5, 200817 yr BTW, why did PBC have to overly complicate their ballot...again? Can you elaborate? In almost all of Florida, the ballots look something like this: Bubble it in, simple enough. In PBC, it looks like this: What you do is shade in the middle section of the two boxes. People have been circling, checking a box or X-ing them.
November 5, 200817 yr So it comes down to Colorado, correct? If Obama wins Colorado this thing is just about 'officially' over. I have yet to conduct a calculation. Please enlighten me...does that assume Obama takes Ohio and/or Florida? no. It assumes McCain takes both Ohio and Florida...and Virginia,North Carolina and Indiana. He still loses without Colorado or Nevada and New Mexico both ,which would be a tie.
November 5, 200817 yr it is over......OH called for Obama Congratulations for those who voted for Obama
November 5, 200817 yr it is over......OH called for Obama Congratulations for those who voted for Obama I just saw it, that's probably the clincher.
November 5, 200817 yr it is over......OH called for Obama Congratulations for those who voted for Obama Who called Ohio?
November 5, 200817 yr it is over......OH called for Obama Congratulations for those who voted for Obama Who called Ohio? Fox News
November 5, 200817 yr Ladies and gentleman, history is being made before our very eyes. Obama will be the first afro-american president of the greatest nation of the world.
November 5, 200817 yr Author I was just starting to get nervous with Virginia so close, but yeah both Ohio and Florida are holding slim Obama leads.
November 5, 200817 yr To go back to what the Godfather was saying, there is no way McCain will get FL, VA, CO, regardless of the fact he lost OH. Yea it's done if Obama gets Ohio. I am rooting for the blowout at this point! A big F U to McCain and the Republicans who laughed and ridiculed the only person who brought any energy and youth to your now laughingstock of a party at this point.
