November 5, 200817 yr Hey, check out who's holding third place in LA. :mischief :thumbup I expect him to get some decent numbers in Montana too.
November 5, 200817 yr In PBC, it looks like this: What you do is shade in the middle section of the two boxes. People have been circling, checking a box or X-ing them. Ah... thanks. Yeah, that is dreadful.
November 5, 200817 yr Author Mitch McConnell hangs on by a thread in KY. GOP keeps its minority leader. I'm saving up some Pepsi. Fan-Tastic. the Obama logo always reminded me of the Pepsi wave. /relevance
November 5, 200817 yr I've been saving up a Three Philosophers beer.... yummm. ohhhh...man. :thumbup You need bump the beer thread for that one. It can be a celebatory beer or a 'sigh...' beer. I guess either way though it's always a great time for a three philosophers.

November 5, 200817 yr Obama has taken the lead in NC and VA. He's ahead in FL. I think this is going to be a rout.

November 5, 200817 yr And just remember in a year...this is what you wanted. As he ruins the country with a congress that wont oppose him and he wont oppose them, this was your poorly thought out decision. Golden horseshoe area of Ontario is calling my name.

Not saying I disagree with this, but if (do I still need to put if?) Barack is our next President, he deserves the chance to show if he really can enact change. Let's give him the next four years to make the change he has promised; he has no excuses as he just about full power. If he doesn't enact positive change, we can rise up in another four years.
November 5, 200817 yr yep...time to give Obama the benefit of the doubt. I hope he does very well, because the country needs it now more than ever. There is a very high expectation on him, which I think it is unrealistic

Exactly right.

Wasn't a big Obama fan, but I hate it when people use the "I'm moving to Canada" thing. Democrats did it for Bush now Republicans are saying it now...if you want to go, go! No matter who wins, this remains the greatest country on Earth, if you don't want to be a part of it because of a presidential election, then please make good on your promise to leave.

Speaking as a person who has seen Chicago politics...which Obama is a disciple of...first hand, the country is in for an awful future with this man as president. You think the federal government is corrupt now, you havent seen a thing yet. The Chicago machine is so corrupt it has sent a state that should be impossible to ruin financially into financial ruin. Obama with a democrat controlled congress should terrify everyone. The fact that he is even a candidate, let alone winning an election, is very disturbing.
November 5, 200817 yr Author oh for christ sakes. move to Canada then, we'll pack you a lunch. the sun will still come up tomorrow, I promise.
November 5, 200817 yr How would McCain be any better? He would quite simply have to be. At least McCain would challenge the congress, Obama wont do that.
