April 2, 200917 yr Guys I was looking at these guys splits and stats, he seems to get it done when runners are in scoring position. Could this be the reason why we got this guy off the Orioles hands? Wiley loves him, and it was a swap of out of options players that have small chances of sticking. There is no situational strategy here. This is basically just finding value in the procedural aspect of baseball. It's a welcome change with how the Marlins have been doing things, releasing all sorts of dudes for nothing.

June 13, 200917 yr gload and paulino have both been good pickups. i didn't really expect gload to play this well but he's done great as a pinch hitter and spot starter.
