I think it's April 17th, 1955 - at the Polo Grounds in the first game of a double-header... - not sure if it was his first AB, but definitely his first home run, obviously Edit: Note, I typo'd the crap outta this, I've since revised it several times.

Slid head first into home and looked like he was so gassed he wouldn't be able to stand up. They used to have that clip on the jumbo tron for years when doing highlites of previous Marlins plays. I don't remember it being his first career dinger. But I trust your research.
April 8, 200917 yr Yeah - I remember the Millar homer at Wrigley. It was to RF and Sammy Sosa stumbled around before fielding the ball - I think it hit a doorway and bounced funny.
April 8, 200917 yr yeah sammy lost it in the vines i remember that play well. A big deal was made of when he would hit his first homer since he had being close. Millar used to be my favorite marlins, my first s/n on this board was Millar Time.
