April 20, 200916 yr Dont see why we need him right now... Wrong link. not its not, its there We don't. That's why we said no. Now, in some kind of a coaching role, I'd welcome him immediately.
April 20, 200916 yr He never really figured out pinch hitting. He was very good for us backing up Hammer though. But yeah, he has no place on this team.
April 20, 200916 yr I'd rather have Carroll's versatility on defense instead of Gonzo, and we have the veteran lefty pinch hitter in Gload now, who can play both corner OF spots and 1B. Sorry, Luis, time to give it up.
April 21, 200916 yr this team is 11-1 why would we send one person down, if every person is linked to every win we have.
April 21, 200916 yr lmao!! Poor guy! Man, I'm sure someone has information proving he was slowly on the decline, but it just seems to me like he went from hitting 40 jacks with the dbacks to being an old sack of bones overnight. Its sad to see a lot of the guys I grew up idolizing just fizzing out.
April 21, 200916 yr He never really figured out pinch hitting. Still would've been better than Helms' two year contract but I guess that's water under the bridge now.
