June 22, 200917 yr LMAO, there was another fight on sunday, in section 146, some drunken Yankees lady fan, snapped after the Fish went 3 up on the Yanks, and tried to sucker punch this lady that was in front of her but hit her kid instead and all hell broke lose, that one was a bit more interesting than this one, the cops took a while to get there, and so did security, they were scrapping for a good couple of minutes before anyone tried to separate them, gotta love the classy trash that is New York fans.
June 22, 200917 yr Classy responses as always, marlinsbaseball.com. its hard to judge people for their reactions to a video like this one... I mean clearly these "grown-ups" were acting immature, but is that all we should say in response to the vid? personally, i thought the whole scene was pretty funny. the little girl crying was really sad in a way, but the whole scene is pathetically humorous, IMO. who knows what "started" it, but alcohol was clearly involved. as for lifetime bans from sporting events for the participants? thats absurd. they should be ejected, held criminally and civilly liable if applicable. whatever punishments society has in place for this sort of behavior is probably appropriate. but ultimately fan fighting at sporting events is part of the experience, IMO. if you choose to bring little kids to games, you need to be aware of the people around you and understand that a scene such as this one just might happen. I would agree that baseball is the american sport where this should be the least acceptable (compared to a football or hockey game). This determination is based simply on the laid-back nature of the game and the fact that it is 'america's pastime'. Great video, though. the comment says it all - definitely should be considered a gem in the underworld of internet fight vid aficionados. :lol
June 22, 200917 yr Reading the YouTube comments made by the guy who says "oh sh*t" at 1:14 in the video, looks like the Marlins fan started this entire thing then left before the cop showed up. if you let some random ass guy. call your wife a bitch whore go suck a cock. and you dont defend her. then you have some serious f***ing problems. this is what happened. The yankees fans wife was at the front of the line to go get a autograph and the marlins fan sons cut everybody in the line and got to the front. then the wife told him hey listen you have to get behind me. then the son walked all the way up to his dad. and marlins fan. started calling yankees fan wife all types of sh*t the marlins fan dipped before the cops came. and the yankees fan wife kissed both the cops on the cheeks because she knew both of them. they left without a problem. shes the one who gave us these awesome seats! Gotta love South Florida. that kid did seem like a prick. he got in a punch and then retreated behind everyone. i'm just glad no one here assumed that the yankee fan started it.....oh wait
June 22, 200917 yr If the story is true about the Marlins fan, I'm glad the Yankees fan decked him. Your brat ass kid decides to cut in front of people who have been patiently waiting in line for an autograph, gets told not to and runs to daddy who insults the Yankees fan wife. Give me a break. If he grows up and robs a 711 at 2 AM are you going to cuss the cashier out for being open that late? Discipline your children.
June 22, 200917 yr Some guy called into 790 on Saturday night, claiming to work security at the stadium. He said that there were 9 separate fights that night.

Idiotic.
June 22, 200917 yr their was fight in section 127 on saturday night one fan of nyy was taking alway and marlins fans you know nyy fans hate us after we take world series alway from them and win it in their home
June 22, 200917 yr I meant more the people making idiotic, unfounded statements like "Lol dumbass yankee fan deserved it!". Idiotic. Not really. He did deserve it. The Yankee fan sucker punched the guy while he was being grasped by several people. It's clear that the Yankee fan deserved to be shoved down the seats. The reason the fight broke out, as of now, is nothing but hearsay. All we can go by is what happened in the video.

It wouldn't have mattered what the video showed, and anybody with a brain knows that. It fits in with the "Yankees fans are douchebags!" stereotype, so it doesn't matter what happened. It didn't matter to almost everyone when someone came on and said the Marlins fan called his wife a whore. If someone called your wife a whore, how would you react? Probably about the same.
June 22, 200917 yr omg...i would punch that girl in the face...she was bawlin her eyes out. You're really going to defend comments like this?

June 22, 200917 yr Let's give it up for the videographer though. Kept his composure and kept filming and even managed to get a shot of the ball being tossed up to a fan in that section.. just to add a little ironic touch. Bravo!

Yeah, because we definitely know that's what happened Just because somebody made a YouTube comment doesn't mean that's what actually happened. It's hearsay. Also, the post made about punching the little girl who was bawling has nothing to do with the Yankee fan deserving his 3-aisle flight. That's just a stupid comment, I won't disagree with that.

Yeah, because we definitely know that's what happened And we definitely know that this is the beginning of the altercation and that the Yankees fan attacked him unprovoked I mean, of course you're going to give the douchebag who is a fan of your team the benefit of the doubt, but there's is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he's just as big a douchebag as the Yankees fan. If you want to believe he's somehow better because he's wearing a Marlins hat, that's good for you, but it's dumb. And that still doesn't excuse the multiple supremely dick statements in this thread.

June 22, 200917 yr That's what the guy who was there and filmed it, a Marlins fan, said. Why should we expect that to not be the truth? Because it's YouTube. We don't know if the person who typed that actually witnessed anything. Was he in the autograph line? Did he actually hear with his own ears the one guy call the other guy's wife a whore? Or did he just hear about it from someone after the fight? Who really knows? It's hearsay.
June 22, 200917 yr And even if his wife WAS called a whore, it still doesn't give him any right to sucker punch the guy when he's being held down. I don't care what the circumstances are, you suckerpunch anybody, and you deserve a beatdown. Bottom line.

June 22, 200917 yr Why are we ragging on the guy for a suckerpunch really? Alls fair in love and war...that guy was not thinking "Oh I'm gonna beat his ass ONLY if its a fair fight..." in his eyes, theres no such thing as a sucker punch... If I'm in a fight and I get my chance to throw a punch i'm throwing it whether its a so-called suckerpunch or not... Yea maybe it was a cheap hit but dont act like you wouldnt throw a sucker punch cause your some super clean fighter...come on
June 22, 200917 yr omg...i would punch that girl in the face...she was bawlin her eyes out. Wow. Typical New York TRASH. Way to act in front of your little girl on Father's Day you piece of sh*t. Great find Gizmo. That Yankee fan is lucky he's a tub of lard. His Yankee fat prevented him from getting a few bones broken when the Marlins fan got to him. hahaha, beautiful footage. Great camera work. Considering that Yankee fan had about 70lbs on the Marlins fan, the Marlins fan did great. 2-1 series win NY bitches. Don't f*** with the MARLINS ! kudos to that kid in the yellow-beaked hat landing that shot. although what the hell was that girl thinking. that guy could have destroyed her And you're still going to defend comments like this. Including one saying "Kudos to this other guy for landing a cheap shot!" Come on.
