YouTube is filled with grainy cellphone videos of drunken bleacher brawls, but few capture the drama, action, suspense, and heartbreaking childhood trauma of this donnybrook from the Yankees-Marlins series. It's like the Citizen Kane of stadium fan fight clips. As usual, we don't get to see what started the fracas, but we do get to see who finished it. Yankee Fan and Marlin Fan are going toe-to-toe across a stadium aisle railing, when Yankee Fan lands a roundhouse haymaker. Then Marlin Fan's wife jumps in. Then their 10-year-old kid gets his shots in. The Marlin Fan comes unhinged, leaping over the railing and sending Yankee Fan tumbling over a row of seats. Bystanders try to "break up" the fight while simultaneously trying to capture it on film. Security is nowhere to be seen. Then comes the shocking plot twist that melts your heart and jerks the tears from your cold, cynical eyes ... Yankee Fan's young daughter bawling her eyes out.

"Quiet, Sweetheart. Daddy's fighting."

But most of all, kudos to the cameraman for keeping his wits about him and getting some rare, super high-quality footage of the elusive stadium brawl. These things are usually more nauseating than The Blair Witch Project, but this guy is a real poet.

Happy Father's Day, everyone!

omg...i would punch that girl in the face...she was bawlin her eyes out.

This exact same thing happened at the Mets/Marlins game earlier in the season. Damn alcohol and idiots, that's not a good mix.

LOL...that Yankee fan got owned. Go back to New York ya punk...

I loved when the Fish fan hopped onto the barrier and made a leap at the Yankees fan in a style suited to the WWE and leaping off the ropes.

Wow. Typical New York TRASH. Way to act in front of your little girl on Father's Day you piece of sh*t.

Yeah, that was great. And the one punch that the Yankee fan landed was really cheap, because the Marlin fan had like 50 people swarming him, tugging and yanking on him. My favorite part is where Marlin fan shoves Yankee fan and he goes flying back like 3 rows.

probably could be said for both of them...

Great find Gizmo.

That Yankee fan is lucky he's a tub of lard.

His Yankee fat prevented him from getting a few bones broken when the Marlins fan got to him.

all parties should never be allowed in a stadium again ........... just idiotic

was this happening about the time girardi was out protesting? - i heard the announcers mention something about security filing in below them to calm things down

hahaha, beautiful footage. Great camera work. Considering that Yankee fan had about 70lbs on the Marlins fan, the Marlins fan did great. 2-1 series win NY bitches. Don't f*** with the MARLINS !

kudos to that kid in the yellow-beaked hat landing that shot. although what the hell was that girl thinking. that guy could have destroyed her

Exactly. It looked like it was on the verge of being broken up right then, then that fat f*** came back and threw a cheap shot, and then got rolled for it.

That may be true enough, but I'm sorry, doing that while your little girl is sitting there screaming and crying and obviously frghtened is absolutely unacceptable.

Anybody know when this happened? I thought something was going on in the 8th inning when Freddie forgot to make the switch. Everybody stood up and was looking towards the stands, but I was on the other side so I couldn't really see what was going on.

From what I've heard, this brawl happened during that whole 8th inning fiasco. So really it was Girard's fault this fight happened. His delay of the game gave these people plenty of time to fight :)

Amazingly I almost got in a stadium brawl once and it had nothing to do with baseball. It was an SIU/U of I argument.

Disgusting.

LOL so did I at a Dolphins/Jets game. Go figure another NY fan drunk off of his ass was causing a huge ruckus one section over, and I yelled at him to sit down and shut the f*ck up. He motioned to me he wanted to fight, so I told him to bring it, but security grabbed him on his way down to me and threw him out, and my section applauded me. I am glad security got him because he would have kicked my ass lol!

Reading the YouTube comments made by the guy who says "oh sh*t" at 1:14 in the video, looks like the Marlins fan started this entire thing then left before the cop showed up.

if you let some random ass guy. call your wife a bitch whore go suck a cock. and you dont defend her. then you have some serious f***ing problems.

this is what happened. The yankees fans wife was at the front of the line to go get a autograph and the marlins fan sons cut everybody in the line and got to the front. then the wife told him hey listen you have to get behind me. then the son walked all the way up to his dad. and marlins fan. started calling yankees fan wife all types of sh*t

the marlins fan dipped before the cops came. and the yankees fan wife kissed both the cops on the cheeks because she knew both of them. they left without a problem. shes the one who gave us these awesome seats!

Gotta love South Florida.

Pathetic. Come to a football ... er ... soccer game over here, say Burnley v Blackburn or Millwall v Cardiff City, and you'll see some proper rucking...

I have to totally agree. this kinda of action has no place during a baseball game.
