When the ball was down he had 6 groundouts and could been 7 if Uggla turns the easy double play.

July 4, 200917 yr I hope Wiley is working with Volstad on eliminating the homeruns. In other words, I hope this is just a bit of a sophomore slump for Volstad and not an indication that last year was a fluke. But dangit, how I hate playing the Pirates.

July 4, 200917 yr This game sucked. We need to take the next 2 for a solid 5-1 homestand. I'm confident about Sunday's game with Nolasco on the hill but tonight's match between Miller and Duke could go either way. Duke has a low 3 ERA on the year, but Miller has looked good since returning from the DL.
