August 5, 200917 yr Just noting it. Here's the box score. http://jacksonville.suns.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?t=g_box&gid=2009_08_05_hunaax_jaxaax_1&did=t564&sid=t564
August 5, 200917 yr Nice...Here's hoping he has finally gotten his head together. If he has, he still has a shot to make it to the Majors one day. Also worth noting, Matt Dominguez has his first AA hit today, he's 1-1 with a double so far.
August 5, 200917 yr Good for Jeff. He has had some really good starts in A+ that were loses due to poor run support. Hope he can succeed.
August 5, 200917 yr Good for him! Hopefully hes on the road back from his addiction... Im pulling for this guy!
August 5, 200917 yr Allison pitched five innings, giving up 2 runs, 1 BB and striking out 3 in jacksonville's 8-2 win.....he earned the W for his effort
August 5, 200917 yr I went to the game today in Jax, had no idea that Allison would be pitching. He struggled through the first and after that settled in. The alarming thing for me was I don't think he threw a single pitch above 88 mph the whole game. Most of his pitches came to the plate in the 84-86 range, which to some is a batting practice pitch. He was also aided by three of the teams four double plays while on the mound, one he helped to turn. He was being interviewed by someone after the game and got the shaving cream in the face. Dominguez looked great with 2 doubles and made a great catch going back by the bullpen.
August 6, 200917 yr Apparently it was only an "emergency start" since he already left the Suns and made the four hour drive to Jupiter to rejoin the Hammerheads. Hopefully Jeff keeps up the good work!

August 7, 200917 yr Looks like according to a tweet from Clark Spencer last night, that Jeff will remain in AA Jacksonville and not be returned to Jupiter as previously reported.
August 10, 200917 yr I'm hoping that he can stay sober and someday make it as a successful pitcher in the major league level. Congrats Jeff and keep it up.
August 11, 200917 yr I hope we can get another success story out of Allison, although Hamilton was seen partying he use to be way worse.
August 11, 200917 yr oh well i guess Allison did get sent back down afterall...need to tweet spencer LOL
