Well, I look like an idiot with Zach Miller now (JaMarcus Russell sucks!). Not worried about TE's though...regardless of who I end up with, it's a deep position this year.

 

Anyways, despite a 0 from Miller, I scored more in Week 2 than I did in Week 1, and I led my league in scoring, with 157 points, in Week 1. My week 2 total of 159 makes me the current leader this week, as well. I should easily be 2-0, unless some miracle occurs. Got a big week from Brees, Colston, and Andre Johnson.

I have the Redskins D, but I'm actually not that confident this week with their matchup against the Lions. I think they might have trouble stopping Calvin Johnson, so I, too, am thinking about the Broncos D. Or perhaps the Bears, if Matt Hasselbeck is unable to play this week, and Seattle has to go with Seneca Wallace.

I am...ton of injuries. Have no idea who my flex will be, and with Derrick Ward starting tomorrow against the Giants, I no longer know who my 2nd RB will be this week, as I no longer want to go with Cadillac. Cedric Benson is not an option either...minor injury + the Steelers defense. Pass. I'm not starting Pierre Thomas, either.

 

Ladell Betts is out there. Plays against the Lions, and Portis is questionable.

 

I'm really waiting to hear the injury reports for tomorrow, to see who I want to pickup and what I want to do. Hopefully, I can work some magic, and make it a 3-0 start...but I doubt it this week. Unless if one or two of my star players absolutely go off.

I'm having similar RB issues as Marion Barber's status is up in the air, and with him not playing until Monday night, if I go with another RB I will need to decide to tomorrow. My other starter Admin Johnson faces the Eagles which is a bad matchup, and I don't really have good alternatives with the likes of Mendenhall and Buckhalter on my bench.

If only Pittsburgh would start giving Mendenhall more carries! I picked him up earlier this week, along with Justin Forsett. 2 backs that could take over the starting spot before the season ends...or at least see a solid amount of playing time, as the season progresses.

Cadillac Williams is questionable and it's been stated that Derrick Ward will start on Sunday. The man behind that? Michael Bush, who I am going with. And Michael Bush at the moment is slotted behind McFadden (though he's been playing better, so chances are Bush will get carries still).

 

A good/bad problem at WR. My WR's are A Johnson, Royal, Mason, Ginn Jr., Bruce, and Randle El. Really the problem this week (as I am sticking with Eddie Royal like Charlie Manuel sticks with Brad Lidge) who slots 3rd? Mason or Ginn Jr.? Mason is going up against a terrible, terrible team. But that could just mean more rushing less passing for Baltimore. And Ginn put up good numbers last week (in a PPR league).

Seriously, if Portis doesn't play tomorrow, I suggest everyone pick up Betts. He's facing the Lions, so some production has to come out of that.

My league is double-bench... so Betts is gone a long time ago lol. Put it this way... I have Dominic Rhodes on my bench just so that when he gets picked up midseason I have him. That shows you how little there is in FA. Kickers, backup QB's, and defenses are available, but that's it.

 

Oh, I barely caught the fact that Dwayne Bowe is out this week on TV (which was the case only about 2 hours ago) and got Devery Henderson in there for him.

 

However, a benificiary if you will, Brian Westbrook is out so I threw LeSean McCoy in.

LeSean McCoy paid off for me this week. Very close call, almost played Cadillac Williams in both of my leagues. 1 point in PPR, 0 in MB league. Derrick Mason came up huge with 22 points PPR and 15 points MB.

Something I've noticed... punter statistics are not calculated live. They register the next day. Koch had some amazing punts today and has 0 points to show for it... pinned the opponents on the 2 I think.

 

My MB team right now... losing... Brees is not putting up any good numbers... Derrick Ward put up a whopping ZERO points despite the fact that he was named starter. Winslow put up a whopping one point as well...

 

I still think I'll win. But it's going to be damn close.

I learned a valuable lesson today. Never again will I pick up a guy like Kevin Faulk! Pierre Thomas and Cedric Benson did just fine, actually. Whatever. I lost. Drew Brees sucked also today...only 4 points. At least my other pickup was fantastic (Santana Moss had 33 points). I scored 110 points overall this week...my opponent just passed me (F Peyton Manning!), and he'll have more points too. He's still got Manning and Boldin in this game, and Witten tomorrow.

 

So I'm 2-1 now.

Winner in all 3 leagues for me today, good fantasy day though bad Fins day.

 

3-0 in MB league barring an utter miracle. (30+ points from Steve Smith). And that's 30 points while TD's are only valued at 4.

Piazza31 - No point really in picking up Gonzalez. He is out at the very least till Week 8 and possibly the rest of the season.
