Yeah and I have to go with Mark Sanchez :/

I feel your pain my friend. Or wait... I cant remember which league I need a backup for...

In another league I am that desperate for a RB this week that I am starting Beanie Wells. And in another Jonathan Stewart. Tough times.....

I won last week, despite another mediocre performance by Drew Brees (2 weeks in a row...glad he has a bye week this week). Andre Johnson also has to pick it up, but whatever I ended up winning 107-94. I'm 3-1.

This week...

I dropped Tashard Choice & added Austin Collie (WR from the Colts).

I dropped the Bengals D/ST and added the Dolphins D/ST.

I also dropped my kicker, John Carney (bye week), and added Dan Carpenter (Dolphins).

Week 4 starting lineup

QB - Donovan McNabb (vs. TB)

RB - Rashard Mendenhall (@ DET)

RB - Fred Jackson (vs. CLE)

Flex - Marshawn Lynch (vs. CLE)

WR - Andre Johnson (@ ARI)

WR - Austin Collie (@ TEN)

TE - Owen Daniels (@ ARI)

D/ST - Dolphins (vs. NYJ)

K - Dan Carpenter (vs. NYJ)

I'm waiting one more week to restart McNabb. That week 3 pickup of Garrard paid off.

I would too, but Brees has a bye week. Plus, I'm guessing McNabb should be at least solid, anyways, facing the Bucs defense.

Both Rodgers and Brees, my 2 QBs for separate leagues, are bye'd.

Oh yeah, Erick, Andre Johnson NEEDS to pick it up. I'm sick of watching him catch a 60 yard pass in the opening minutes of a game and then catch 2 more for about 10 yards in the rest of the game.

My replacement for Rodgers is Seneca Wallace (unfortunately, wont do Collins v. Indy and Pennington went down, dont trust Henne just yet).

My replacement for Brees is Mark Sanchez. If I win anything I'll be happy haha.

Dr Beinfest - You may want to rethink your strategy this week as Matt Hasselbeck is starting, not Seneca Wallace.

Thanks for the note... I'd have noticed it by Sunday but that'd probably be too late. When I originally put him in Wallace was starting. Anyways... thanks.

Schaub

Roddy

Walter

S. Jackson

In 2nd place at 3-2... need a W this week. Need Schaub to light it up again and get Walter involved for once!

I lost this week, 154-132. The difference was me starting Donovan McNabb over Drew Brees. I knew this would happen in one of the weeks, where I had 2 good QB's, and I started the wrong one.

Anyways, I am now 4-2.

this is a team I'm doing in ESPN with friends. it's an 8 team league and we each are putting $50 on the line. winner gets $250, 2nd gets $100, 3rd gets their money back. I'm 3-3 right now and in 4th place (top 4 make playoffs)

this is my team:

QB Matt Schaub

RB Steven Jackson

RB Clinton Portis

WR Randy Moss

WR Steven Jackson

WR/TE Heath Miller

TE Antonio Gates

D/ST Ravens (gotta change them since they are on bye)

K Josh Scobee (also on bye and has been changed constantly)

my bench looks like this

WR Marques Colston

QB Tony Romo

RB Kevin Smith

RB Ahmad Bradshaw

WR Derrick Mason

WR Michael Crabtree

WR Jeremy Maclin

I picked up Crabtree just to hold on to and I picked up Maclin because he had that great game a couple weeks ago. I didnt start Colston this past week because I thought the Giants defense was going to be better than what they were. thankfully I still won my game thanks to Schaub and Moss. I'm not comfortable with my running backs at all. any advise on who I should sit/start or who is a good pick up?

Definitely wasn't the wrong call... you just got unlucky as fuhhh..

So anyways, in a PPR league... having...

Rodgers

LT

Thomas Jones

Eddie Royal

D Mason

Andre Johnson

Heath Miller

Baltimore D :(

Ryan Longwell...

absolutely beaaastly week. 155 points. I'm averaging 125 points per week and Im 5-1. If LT is back for real... my team will win every single game leading into the fantasy playoffs guaranteed.

Yeah, pretty much.

Kinda sucks b/c I'm not in first place, yet I lead the league in points, averaging 136 points per week (818 points in 6 weeks). I've scored over 100 every week too, but I haven't run into an opponent who has scored under 100, either. I'm guessing that has to even out, lol.

6-0 in the Marlinsbaseball.com ESPN fantasy football, now #1 with LOLSchnellders team losing.

There is no denying my team is > yours, so ya'll might as well give up and just give me the winners title.

Just a minor blip in my run to the championship. I might finally be able to bench the incredibly inconsistent Santana Moss with the return to fantasy relevance of Lance Moore last weekend. Mendenhall is also now officially the no1 back in Pittsburgh so him along with a healthy Marion Barber gives me a solid running game.

I got fed up with my team underachieving this week. Probably shouldn't have done this trade, but I traded from built up depth. Keeper league, you keep three.

What do you guys think? Should I trade from my bench for a better quarterback? Who are your 3 early keepers from my current team?

Traded away:

Drew Brees (My 1st round Pick)

Steven Jackson (2nd round Pick)

Ahmad Bradshaw

Miles Austin

Josh Cribbs (Return Stats count, Ranked number 5 so far for WR stats)

Recieved:

Adrian Peterson

Steve Slaton

Matt Ryan

Anquan Boldin (Injured)

Brandon Marshall

Roster Before:

Brees

Steven Jackson

Cedric Benson

Flex: Kevin Smith

Reggie Wayne

Johnny Knox (originally had Owens, who is on my bench now)

Josh Cribbs

Antonio Gates

Mason Crosby

Vikings D

Roster After:

Matt Ryan/Brett Farve (Matchup time)

Adrian Peterson

Cedric Benson

FLEX: Steve Slaton

Reggie Wayne

Brandon Marshall

Anquan Boldin/Johnny Knox

Antonio Gates

Mason Crosby

Vikings D

Bench: Chad Henne, Rashard Mendenhall, Kevin Smith, Chester Taylor, Terrell Owens, Hakeen Nicks.

The big matchup this weekend as 6-0 faces 5-1.

Good fo rme, someone's gotta lost

But I still gotta do my part...

You mean Schnellders? Yeah, he's gonna lose big time.

Anyway, I decided to make a trade, maybe a "boost" for the Schnellders game.

Send Tim Hightower, Ari RB

Send Hakeem Nicks, NYG WR

Send Visanthe Shiancoe, Min TE

Receive Terrell Owens, Buf WR

Receive Zach Miller, Oak TE

Receive Devery Henderson, NO WR

Receive Mike Bell, NO RB

Any feedback on the trade? I have an extremely deep WR core with Desean Jackson and Admin Fitz heading, so T.O is just a nice compliment. I really did the trade for Zach Miller, who I love moving forward. I was kinda iffy on getting rid of Nicks and Shanicoe, but I viewed Shiancoe and Miller as even, and that T.O is better overall than Nicks, while Hightower certainly has underperformed for me this year.

I think you're making a bad trade b/c the only player on there who's significant, imo, is Tim Hightower. T.O's value is pretty low, and Zach Miller's QB is competing with us to see who will have higher completion % this year.

Can't you get someone that's not Devery Henderson? He's pretty useless now with Lance Moore back to playing well.

Tim Hightower is averaging like 7 fantasy points a game, which is about average. I have Kevin Smith and Ryan Grant, both average RB's, already. This is Smith's bye week, and with Grant already using his I believe, I can ride Smith and Grant to the end. Hightower wasn't significant at all. T.O has a much higher chance of rebounding and becoming a shadow of his former self than Hightower has at exploding.

And about Russell, he has had back to back good games, and Miller is coming off of a 139 yard receiving game, and is easily the best receiving weapon they have. Miller is on the rise without a doubt.
