Can we trade Andrew Miller for a quality middle relief guy?

 

He's still walking way too many guys in the minors. Actually, I think if anyone should be called it up should be RVH (not that he's been more than average in the minors so far).

Not sure he has too much value at this point. That said I think our lineup's going to have to start hitting before we start trading anything substantial for a decent reliever.

Sadly RVH pitched tonight, 7 innings.

It was kinda' sad watching Meyer out there tonite. He's stunk up the place all season, but tonite he fell apart completely. I doubt we'll see him in still in the line-up after tonite. As the guy was screaming from the stands, "Meyer, it's time to retire."

Thanks for having to throw 43 pitches and making us waste Hensley, Meyer. I don't care who we call up, he's got to go after this game.

Yeah, it would be Jones then. He's only had 3.1 IP as a reliever but I don't care. Anything is better than what Meyer is so far this year. Plus that means he can probably go multiple innings. With Badenhop down, we really don't have an LRP. So yeah, I want him up after this game.

My guess would be Hunter Jones. They will want a lefty.

 

West is hurt and Miller isn't making progress in AA and might be demoted back to A.

Maybe then he will realize he needs to put some cash into the pullpen. Atleast one dominant LOOGY(aka; A. Rhodes).
