I've heard Cookie was actually the manager for a day when they fired one of the manager, but I don't know when he happened. Maybe when Henry was owner?? But Cookie did manage the Futures Game so obviously somebody thinks he has enough managerial experience.

 

 

Didn't know about that. I'd think Tommy might make a good manager as well, but I'd prefer him to remain our announcer heh.

 

He is a great announcer. I'm glad he is ours. There are many I have heard I don't like--most obviously Tampa Bay, lol :whistle

Ok so Ricky has been pitching pretty well here and the Marlins have made Strassburger pitch quite a lot..yet still nothing to show for it. They need to start getting runs here!

That's very cool. And he isn't just proMarlins making comments about others. He appears to be careful with criticism against other teams unlike Tampa. I like it when he speaks for us fans also like when Hanley was lollygating and Tommy mentioned it. He's not a yes man.

Yeah, in fact what I've noticed is that Rich and Tommy always say good things about the other teams we play. But I know what you mean. And yeah Tommy is a very opinionated person and he's usually always right heh. You can even hear his frustration with this team at times, which is actually kind of nice because you can totally agree with him in that.
