canada-marlin24 Posted October 3, 2010 Share Posted October 3, 2010 nice way to finish the year and good to see some nice crowds. when healthy we have the pieces to go deep into the playoffs. we definitely need to shore up the bench and to fix up some spots in the bullpen. leo just seems so much more fluid and comfortable in the 8th inning. there are forsure some guys that should be back in the pen: hensley, sanches, veras, nunez, badenhop. the rest is up for the FO to deal with. also would love to have donnie murphy back as well. It's been fun. But this season has definitely had its ups and downs and at most points very frustrating. Let's hope next year is better health-wise and such. We have the talent right now to go far and hopefully the FO will fix the holes and we'll be even better come 2011. I was unsure about Edwin at the start but honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing him back again at least for one more season.
