January 7, 201115 yr In case no one noticed. The UM women's basketball team is 15-1. And they were unranked coming into last night's game. I know they played mostly a bunch of high school teams in the OOC part of their schedule, but so has everybody else. FSU is ranked with 3 losses. WTF! Only 2 other teams(that were ranked) had 14 wins as of the latest rankings. I know rankings don't mean as much in basketball since they have the tournaments, but give the UM girls some respect FFS. As for the men, they're right on pace to just miss the tournament again. Although maybe not with 3 more teams added starting this year. I think the UM men's basketball team should be dropped and the money allocated to it put towards the football team.:mischief Seriously though, does the men's BB team actually make money for the school? Even the football team doesn't these days so I don't see how. Do the ACC teams that make the tornament have to put the money they get into a pool to be divided amongst all the schools in the conference(like the bowls in football)? I can't see any other way the team could be profitable.

February 17, 201115 yr It's been a rough season for my New Mexico Lobos, yeah they are 17-9 but that's far from the expectations everyone had for them coming into the season. Only way we go dancing is if we win the MWC tourney which is a long shot.

At least 1 of them seems very proud, but I don't think he's much of a b-ball fan. I wonder what the other guys think. Duke vs. UNC is returning to its old glory days. The rematch is going to be awesome!

Like the Mountain Meadows massacre for instance. No, he's not responsible for as many deaths as Hitler(I assume that's what ridiculous is referring to.), but he's just as evil.
