Who had the worst offseason?

Jayson Werth ~$18mil / year for 7 years.

Vernon Wells making 23 million this year (5 mill being paid by the Blue Jays), and then 21 million for the 3 years after next is by far the worst.

The Angels actually traded for that contract as well to make it even more laughable.

My brother always told me that Tony Reagins knew nothing about baseball; I guess I believe him now.

The Angels have a shot at a playoff spot, though. (not saying the contract isn't atrocious)

The Nats have a shot at 4th place in their division.
