I wouldn't be surprised if Florida lost. They're probably the worst 2 seed of all time.

EDIT: Didn't realize they started already and up 20 LOL

Yeah......not smart on my part tonight.

Yeah...I'm gonna say Florida definitely isn't the worst 2 seed of all time.

I'm going to come out and say San Diego State isn't better than them, Notre Dame isn't better than them, and although many people believe UNC will win this entire thing, I think Florida is a more complete and deeper team than North Carolina.

So I think they're the best 2 seed in the entire tournament. I think BYU with Charlie Davies, Purdue with Robbie Hummel, and UConn the way the currently are are all better than UF, but UF got put in a region where the 1 seed in Pittsburgh, easily the worst 1 seed in this tournament and a team that would be a 3 or 4 seed any other year.

Florida is very likely to make it to the elite eight, and after that anybody can win.

Well UCF beat em and UCF didn't even make the tournament.

Then again UCF started 14-0 and finished 19-11. So they should've made the tournament and only ruined it for themselves by beating really good teams (Florida, Miami, Princeton) and then losing to teams that lost/would lose to teams they beat.

Good news for me. All my sweet sixteen teams are set to survive the first round (just need Xavier to come back against Marquette).

Big East is rather unimpressive, eh?

1. Louisville LOST in the round of 64 to #13 seed Morehead State.

2. Pitt, a #1 seed, LOST in the round of 32 to #8 seed Butler.

3. Georgetown LOST in the round of 64 to a #11 seed Virginia Commonwealth.

4. Saint Johns LOST in the round of 64 to a #11 seed Gonzaga.

5. Villanova LOST to #9 seed George Mason in the round of 64.

6. West Virginia LOST to Kentucky in the round of 32.

7. Cincinnati LOST to UConn in the round of 32.

8. Connecticut advanced to the Sweet 16.

9/10. Marquette will play Syracuse in the round of 32 - one will go to the Sweet 16, one will be knocked out.

11. Notre Dame will play in the round of 32 today.

So, at best, there will be 3 Big East teams in the sweet 16, which wouldn't seem awful given that 11/64 ~ 1/6th of the team,s and 3/16 > 1/6. But considering it was supposed to be full of powerhouses, this has been a mediocre showing at best, including 4 first-round exits, all of which came against non-BCS schools.

Nothing new for the Big East.

Apparently, VCU was offended when everyone was saying they didn't belong in the tournament. They've probably been the most impressive team in the tournament, thus far.

My bracket has officially been busted. My national championship teams and 3 of the 4 Final Four teams still are alive, but everything else is in the red.

Mine's the same way except the fact that 2 of my Final Four teams are gone and my champ is gone. Lol, I don't know anything about college basketball though, I was just guessing based upon limited knowledge and seeding.
