I don't see how you can blame Loria for Vazquez. If anything, the GM/scouts/coach are at fault for that; Loria spent 7 million.

i actually liked the signing. but still they were being cheap because they didnt wanna spend money on a multiyear deal with a pitcher so they took a guy who is old and had a pretty bad year last season. my issue is that we could really use a guy who is in his prime and while might not be cliff lee, we know wont be horrendous.
