Artist/celebs and political views: Thoughts?

I have been pondering this for awhile and want to get everyone else's thoughts on the subject. I'm curious what everyone else thinks about it.

Are there any celebrities or musical artist you refuse to listen to or watch due to their political thoughts?

Or Are their any celebs or artist you like but hate their political views.

Are you able to separate the two and enjoy the Art.

One example I have is Rage against the Machine. Not a giant fan of the music but I completely hate the majority of their political views and their vagrant disregard for the law and safety of others.

I don't want to turn this into a bashing of the others opinions just want to get ideas from you guys.

I think Kelsey Grammar is an idiot, now, but he doesn't really have anything to watch. I guess the fact that I have to think so hard about this means the answer is probably no.

Supposedly a lot of country fans quit listening to the Dixie Chicks, though. I don't know who's the equivalent on the other side that I even listened to, anyway.

I try to avoid listening to men who beat on women, but goddamnit "International Love" is so fly.

I'm guilty as well. I just pretend I'm listening to a robot voice considering how auto tuned his voice is anyway.

I was actually just joking, although the song is admittedly catching.

That's the problem with most Pitbull songs, most are catchy even though it's the competely opposite spectrum to what I normally listen too.

I'll never understand it. I'm trying not to bash, but the people that say they're "Team Breezy" or the girls on twitter who wrote, "I'd let him punch me in the face, if he'd kiss it after" or w/e...HOW?
