Stanton injures left wrist

Featured Replies

I'm cool with this. Long as he comes back nice and healthy and hits 3 homers in his first game back.

Not sure why you think they're gonna be pitching to him...

Stanton can pretty much hit a baseball to Mars, so I bet your right on that aspect

Cause it's Spring Training.

Still better off just walking him instead of trying to play "hero."

More like, "I'm trying to make the team, better not look like I'm scared."

I remember when baseball was a man's game - when throwing up and in was an accepted intimidation tactic, when take out slides were a good hardnosed play, when collisions at the plate were a consequence of trying to block the plate. Damn you Buster Posey and your twig legs.

Regular season, that's fine. But throwing up and in on a wet ST day isn't. I don't care what the team is doing the pitching.

We have the Mets today in Jupiter. Be interesting to see if Ozzie sends a message for the rest of the year.

"Giancarlo Stanton will be sidelined for at least another week after being diagnosed with inflammation in his left knee."

... Admin, this might be my fault.

On a side note, how does one get inflammation? How does it start? Is it just a random wtf thing that just pisses everyone off, like Nyjer Morgan? Stanton has right knee Nyjer Morgan?

I once had to have the Nyjer Morgan drained from my knee, man did that suck.

I used to post like you guys on these forums, then I took a Nyjer Morgan to the knee.
