It's a new month and the Marlins are on the road again. Our first stop is at the home of one of our division rivals, the Phillies. They are currently at the bottom of the division, after what was a somewhat rough month for them. If Mark Buehrle pitches like his usual self, we have a decent chance of winning this particular game. So join us for what promises to be an exciting series, and the first game of a particularly difficult month in which we will face some rather tough and determined opponents.

Go Fish!!! :gofish

I don't think they'll only have eight losses next month, but I also don't believe there'll be a June swoon this year either. With a bit of luck, they will still be in the thick of it come the All Star break.

Too much $W4G.

No, we are probably not going to win as many games as we did last month, but we don't have to do so in order to remain in 1st/2nd place. We needed that to get here because of how bad the start to the season was. As long as we win 56%-57% of the games this month, we should be in 1st place at the end of it. I'm not great at math, but that should work out to about 15 games that we need to win this month to stay on track.

15-11 is doable. I predict 20-14 from now til the break.

They're gonna throw this lineup at us today:

Rollins

Polanco

Pence

Ruiz

Wigginton

Luna LF

Mayberry CF

Galvis

Kendrick

.

I like Luna.

The bottom half of the lineup must wake up in June.

Start it today.

Looks like they're going to go.

Play ball!

Ew, bad decision.
