Maybe the Marlins should fix it since it was a Marlin that caused it - might bring some good karma to this cursed team

But they haven't won any since that time!!! Or maybe the curse was transferred to D-Train

I was there. The sound the ball made when it connected was terrifying -- I wasn't sitting anywhere near homeplate, and I heard it loud and clear. We all stood stunned for almost ten minutes. Thankfully, Greenberg's injuries weren't any more serious and he seems to be back in decent health; but still, what a tragic story.

But how many have we won since Lenny Harris wasn't allowed to throw the first pitch?

I didnt remember that! What a sad story! That has got to suck, first Major League pitch and your career is over... At least he wasn't seriously hurt that he wasnt able to continue a normal life...

And, as far as curses go, Muhammad Ali not throwing out the first pitch was our curse this season! Sad but true!
