If anyone besides me still cares, Marlins called up Dan Jennings and Tom Koehler and that's it for now.

 

I was kinda hoping to see Coghlan back to see if he has anything left. The last I checked he was raising his average but I can't pull up his final stats. Surprised in general we brought up no other position players consider how the team is walking wounded most of the time.

Hayes and Coghlan are probably coming up also any day now.

Right, the Suns are not in the playoffs.

The Suns were eliminated recently...almost had 3 minor league teams make playoffs - only Jupiter and Greensboro made it... I would be curious to see if Zach Cox gets a call-up

That's kind of stupid, If we are looking at given these guys playing time, why not bring them up it's not like anyone special is blocking anyone from playing time.

Not really stupid if the Marlins reportedly thought that the Cardinals were rushing Cox and then demoted him from AAA to AA.

I just read that A.J. Ramos can apparently throw a fastball as high as 98 mph.

It's odd that I haven't seen him mentioned in a system top-20 prospects list or something.

 

I honestly thought he was just a 25-year old in AA dominating because he was simply older than everyone else, but apparently he has some good stuff?
