Anyways, Cubs GM has offered Luis Castillo 15 million for three years. If he takes it, here is what the Cubs lineup might look like:

2. Patterson

8. Miller/Bako

9. Pitcher

I don't see what would be so appealing about the Mets orginization over the Cubs though.

Cold in the begining for a few week,s and at the end for a few weeks (even at that point, it aint bad), winning, franchise headed in good direction.

 

Not that weather should matter.

Take it for what it's worth but I have heard that the Marlins want Castillo to decide quickly because if he doesn't sign with the Fish the Marlins have a trade for Spivey ready to go.

 

So in other words it should be Castillo or Spivey at 2nd

Can add something to this post "if" the Mets are about to offer SS Miggy Tejada a 3 yr 30 million deal and with Jose Reyes ready to move to 2B.. Why would the Mets be after Castillo? So if this "rumor" is true about Tejera, then Castillo appears set to come back to the Fish... :whistle
