June 13, 201313 yr Olmos is not good. His minors ERA was a fluke. low k rate, high bb rate and much higher FIP than his ERA. He's not gonne survive mlb batting even with that straight as an arrow stinky cheese Also, can't wait for Eovaldi to take over Slowey's spot!
June 13, 201313 yr Didn't watch tonight but saw some highlights on MLBN while the game was on. I hope the Benny Hill music was used during the game. Looked like little leaguers out there.
June 13, 201313 yr Both Eovaldi (Jax) and Alvarez (Jupiter) are pitching rehab games today, should be the last one for Nate. Didn't realize Alvarez was close to returning also, good to see.
June 13, 201313 yr Sloweys time here is winding down, which is slightly sad for him cuz unlike olivo, Mathis, polanco and maybe Pierre, I think most of us on here "like " Kevin.

June 13, 201313 yr I think Slowey has been fine in the rotation minus a couple outings such as last night. But he's been better than the average fifth starter... Worth something to someone, I'm sure.

He's actually been terrible since about mid May on. May era = 5.76 and June era = 6.06 (and that's with his 7 shutout against the mets) What's weird about Slowey is his home ERA is 5.15 with 10 HR in 43 IP. That's horrendous and I figured he would do much better at that park.
