December 5, 200322 yr My favorite moment: Luis' seeing eye single that scores Gonzo in what would be the decisive run in game 6. However, the thing I will remember forever is Clemens' last pitch. I was there and the flash bulbs were blinding, it just gave me goosebumps. I'll actually remember that more than the walk off HR, one of the greatest games in recent memory...
December 5, 200322 yr The flashes started after the first strike, and continued to grow with every pitch. No wonder Luis struck out. He probably couldn't see the damn ball. I was amazed that Roger could maintain his concentration. And hats off to the Marlins fans for the standing ovation they gave Clemens. We showed we are a classy group of baseball fans.
December 5, 200322 yr I went to visit my father-in-law after Game 6. He used to watch every single Marlins game on TV (although he was too frail to go to PPS anymore) It was very emotional - see he passed away in June. I left the Herald front page by his graveside. Somehow, he knows what happened and in his own way he helped.
December 5, 200322 yr from an outsiders view. two things come to mind.. one is Miguel Cabrera homering off Clemens (who i would have booed all day) after clemens brushed him with a pitch. two, Josh Beckett tagging out Jorge Posada. you know, the yankees always look menacing when they are behind, and there's this feeling that you know they are gonna win even if they are losing , just like the pedro martinez game in the playoffs. But the day beckett pitched, the yankees looked defeated in the 9th, no spark, no nothing, Beckett simply shut them down.

December 5, 200322 yr PICTURES MORE THAN WORDS WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS... WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS! MY FRIEND :whistle
December 5, 200322 yr To me, every single moment of the World Series for the fish was the greatest. Ever hit, every homer, every stolen base, every strikeout, every putout, every foot crossing the plate was a magical moment. Just seeing the Marlins play in the WS was the best itself. Of course there were moments that stood out more (Cabrera's shot off Clemens, Braden Looper shutting the door, Sea Bass coming through, etc) but overall, it was just awesome for a Marlin fan.
December 5, 200322 yr My favorite moment was when beckett tagged Posada to end it. I was nearly in tears. i picked the fish to win it all, and my family laughed at me. and then... champs

December 6, 200322 yr one of my favorite moments of the entire playoffs was game 5 of the NLCS vs the Cubs at home.....the game Beckett pitched and the at bat he had against Sammy Sosa...i was completely amazed and i remember thinking "this guy has balls"...he threw Sosa fast ball after fast ball after the pitch that almost hit sammy.
December 6, 200322 yr Author I think one of the best post-season moments was Jack's barb at Rob Dibble..."And tell Rob Dibble, I still know how to manage..." HA!!!!!! I think the saddest moment was seeing Soriano crying in the dugout with what looked like a "Curt Schilling "OMG Mitch Williams is pitching I can't watch" towel" over his head
December 6, 200322 yr I think the saddest moment was seeing Soriano crying in the dugout I agree, that was actually heart breaking!
