Piazza31
I thought we could get more for him. Any positives on Brian B?

Backin2008
I think the Marlins got jobbed a little bit here. I have seen Bogusevic play quite a bit, and he's not that good. Ruggiano lands in the perfect spot.

Hotcorner
Pretty sure this move saves 1 mil. And some change... $$$$$$ yeah I ask the question with the obvious answer lol... good to see the FO is living up to their reputation. ony the Marlins do a salary dump for 1 mil. ah whatever, fills the same basic need I guess. If the extra million nets them Chavez or something then ok. Good luck to Ruggiano
pollythewog
Ruggiano is going to hit 25 HR for the astros in that park and division... Mark dis post.

pollythewog
Mostly I'm going to miss arguing with Bender about Ruggiano and him pulling balls
MrAndMrsFish
Hit .273 with a .323 OBP and a .784 OPS last season in 155 PA in 47 Games for the Cubs. He added six homers and seven doubles; Former first round pick out of Tulane by Houston in 2005.

Minute Maid was more friendly for HRs than Wrigley last year... He's going to rake in that division. Isn't he from Texas? Good for ruggz. Seems like an awesome dude (his fangraphs from 2 years ago was greaT)

Backin2008
Bogusevic has a .236 career batting average with a .683 OPS in his first 299 major league games. Hard to get too excited about that.

Hard to get too excited about that. It's a stupid trade. We basically traded Ruggiano for Ruggiano without power. Houston wins this one easily IMO Edit: I think I just agreed with you! Backin2008
Some are confused on here. Bogusevic played his first three years in the majors with the Astros, but last season he was with the Cubs.

Hotcorner
he had good partial seasons in 2011 and 2013, and a poor full season in 2012. Kinda similar story with Ruggs actually. Tease you with some flashes but given a bigger role they both slipped back.

Bogusevic played his first three years in the majors with the Astros, but last season he was with the Cubs. Yeah that's what messed me up. Instead of actually reading the topic I just looked up Bogusevic's stats and neglected the whole cubs thing in 2013... The point is we just traded Ruggiano for Ruggiano with less power
