Fox Sports Florida Announces Encore Games

MIAMI, Fla. (Feb. 7, 2014) ― FOX Sports Florida announced today the schedule for Miami Marlins 2013 encore games. From walk-off home runs to masterful pitching performances, Marlins fans can tune-in to relive the excitement of Marlins baseball in anticipation of spring training. The games are scheduled to air statewide on FOX Sports Florida on Mondays at 8 p.m. for six consecutive weeks. The encore presentations will begin on Monday, Feb. 10 and air every Monday through March 17 on the statewide television home of the Marlins.

Airdate: Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, 8 p.m.


Game: April 29, vs. New York Mets


A wild night ended in elation as Nick Green's sacrifice fly in the 15th inning lifted the Marlins to a 4-3 win.



Airdate: Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, 8 p.m.


Game: June 30, vs. San Diego Padres


On a day celebrating the Marlins 20th anniversary, catcher Jeff Mathis kept the good times going with a walk-off grand slam in the ninth inning.



Airdate: Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, 8 p.m.


Game: July 23, at Colorado Rockies


Pitcher Jose Fernandez tossed seven strong innings in outfielder Christian Yelich’s MLB debut.



Airdate: Monday, March 3, 2014, 8 p.m.


Game: Sept. 11, vs. Atlanta Braves


Jose Fernandez inspired with his arm, capitalized with his bat and made a strong closing argument as to why he would eventually be named National League Rookie of the Year.



Airdate: Monday, March 10, 2014, 8 p.m.


Game: Sept. 28, vs. Detroit Tigers


Ed Lucas tied it in the 9th inning, setting up Giancarlo Stanton to win it in the 10th as the Fish won 3-2.



Airdate: Monday, March 17, 2014, 8 p.m.


Game: Sept. 29, vs. Detroit Tigers


Pitcher Henderson Alvarez tossed the fifth no-hitter in franchise history, finishing the regular season with a legendary pitching performance.

Other than the Fernandez starts I don't know why you would watch this. We had a historically bad offense last year.

There were a few choice times we broke out and did some scoring. I wish the start against Halladay in Philly was one of the encores. I think we scored like 14 runs that day, including a Hech grand slam?
