The brown patches in the outfield were noticeable in 2012 but I thought that was already corrected for 2013. I don't remember any trouble with it last year, am I mistaken?

I noticed when fly balls would hit the ground, sand would pop up and the ball wouldn't really bounce... It would kind of die. It absolutely needed to go.

I love the green. There's nothing like a perfectly manicured MLB field.

Hmm, maybe I should have said mowed, no, that's not it, maybe, how about trimmed? No, that's not it, maybe edged? No, I got it -- grounds-kept.

There's something else perfectly manicured that I could think of.

 

My nails do look pretty.
