Post Game 8/8

Eovaldi was great. Hechavarria saved the game.

Offense terrible again, especially in the first three innings.

Cishek really has me worried now. His ERA is approaching 4 and its mainly because he is making terrible pitches and hanging the slider. He needs to get that fixed or else he gets crushed and work on incorporating his changeup again.

When we win we just continue with our lives in happiness. When we lose we are forced to convene in anger as a way to vent. Misery loves company. It's sadly the truth.

Yeah. I know I love it when the team wins.

Playoffs do seem a longshot. 86-76 might be enough to squeak in as the second wild card...I still this this team ends up 75-85 wins range. Unless we win like 9 of 10 a few times...

The fact that Hech is above replacement level is remarkable. Over a 2 win improvement on last year, right?

Yeah, I think his improvement is making people think that he's actually good now. He was the worst player in baseball last year. Now he's just well below average, no longer historically awful.
