May 30, 201511 yr I felt physically sick in the ninth. Ramos has been the only bright note in the bullpen, so if he had screwed up, I would have given up all hope. He was okay, thankfully. Not great, and the mutts got lucky with the ball that dropped between Yelich and Hech. Only two dumb decisions by DJ this time. Lifting Haren and not challenging Hech's tag. Hech said he tagged him, and the replay showed he might have done. Pretty disrespecful not to believe him. It wasn't like it wasn't late in the game. We're now at .500 ... over the last six games. Progress being made?
May 30, 201511 yr I know you would obviously rather have the out should the call be overturned but any chance he didn't challenge so as not to give Ramos a 4 or 5 minute delay which could break up any pitching rhythm?

Good thought process. But regardless you still have to challenge it's the 9th inning and it would have been a deciding factor regardless. Thought it was a great play by JT to even make it close.

Nah, Goff was on the phone and DJ was on the step. My bet is Donovan Solano was using the video-checking machine and had accidentally put in a DVD of IronMan 3 in.
May 30, 201511 yr Can we finally put Yelich back in the 2 spot already? He's been fine and hitting the ball hard for 2 weeks now. enough of prado.
May 30, 201511 yr Can't say I really mind Prado 2nd, fourth is a no no but second is ok. Yelich could probably be quite useful fifth or even sixth if the rest of the team was actually clicking the way it was supposed to. Just saying.
May 30, 201511 yr Yelich really needs to be back in the 2 hole. Prado makes no sense there with Yelich hitting like Yelich should (.333/.360/.458 last 7 days)
May 30, 201511 yr Okay, so you move the struggling hitter down in the order, though he's been a consistent contact man for the bulk of his career in favor of a guy who is a lot more streaky. That puts a hot hitter with good speed in the 2-hole, which is a good short-term solution on its own, but it renders the 5-7 spots absolutely useless over that same period. I want the guy who has a better chance of getting on base to get more abs and be before stanton. That guy is Yelich
May 30, 201511 yr At the expense of every spot behind Stanton? Because that part of the lineup is just lighting up the world with the current lineup, right?
