This is assuming Jose starts Game 2 which makes no sense because Jose not starting Game 1 would only be to save innings off his arm. Moving him one day back doesn't do this. After April 5th, Opening Day is just one single game on the calendar. If our lineup is at full strength, the chances of us winning with Jose on the mound aren't astronomically greater than they are with Chen on the mound. It's still just one game.
