July 30, 201610 yr Need a miracle to even the series Kinda disagree. We scored five runs yesterday and six today. We don't need a miracle, we need starting pitching to step up. We only lost these two games because Jose Jose sucked. Ironically the rest of the series is in the hands of Rea and Cashner. We shall see but it wouldn't really surprise me to win both of the next two.

My guess Koehler takes Urenas spot and stays in the rotation but the moment he shows that he's back to sucking Urena can come up immediately for the next start. I think Koehler and Urena are gonna kind "share" the fifth starter spot for now.

I know he's just Scoop but I gotta believe the team is still looking right? Chances are probably low but there's no way they believe this move yesterday is enough for them to just sit back and say they're set.

They may end up doing nothing else but doesn't mean they won't try. Still need a lefty reliever, a bench bat and possibly another SP.

Hope that is hit 2,999 and 3,000. Otherwise it will happen on the road if he is used at all. That would be sad for his fans.

I look for Urena to be optioned to AAA. if they acquire another SP, then I think Rea becomes a swingman I wondered because the Sports Illustrated article stated Cashner was replacing Koehler in the rotation. I didn't think Koehler was the "worse", but then I thought they knew something I didn't know. I was thinking Urena especially after last night needed some more time in the minors.

I have been hoping that Loria would redeem himself (yes, I know it would be so out of nature), and use the ill gotten cash (how a lot of us feel) from the trade and more from his pocketbook (yes, I know moths live there because never opened), and actually GET US A STARTING PITCHER.

The problem is that we don't have any assets left to trade. I think it's safe to say the we are done. Albeit not by choice.
