I think we could be very competitive if we strengthen our bullpen. We dont need Vlad to be a contender, but it would give us a huge boost if we did.

There is no need to panic ...there's more than enough time to add depth. Benite and Kim are NOT winners. Percival may be available,and there's no reason why a middleman can't be turned into a closer; Giants did pretty good without Nen last year
December 14, 200322 yr Kim has a WS ring, therefore he is a winner :thumbup even though he was terrible in the series, and wasn't even on the Red Sox roster for the championship series! Mets tried for 2 yrs to get rid of Benitez; he was dealt away twice in the 2nd half of last season and many teams now in need of bullpen help aren't even interested! I still don't see the need for the panic, but I'd go for Williamson over Benitez :banghead
