Unless he goes all out on spring training I’d prefer to let him get those innings in the minor. 

 

 

I like this move. As is the case with many roster decisions that need to be made, if it's ever gonna be done, this is the season to try it. 

 

 

I really like this move. Stretch him out in Spring Training and see what he has a starter right now. That's what he came up as. If it doesn't work out he can always go back to the bullpen where he did a solid job for us last year.

 

 

Good move.  Should have been tried last season.  MLB teams need to give every last effort to make every pitcher a starter until its obvious its not going to work.  Might have had to do with i believe the shoulder injuries he had the year prior though, so that probably played into why he was in the pen . last year.

I think this is a good move move for the fish, Garcia could be a decent 4-5 guy in the rotation

 

 

I think Garcia has good stuff but I dont recall his fastball velocity being nearly as high when he was starting in the minors. I hope he can maintain the velocity.
