Miami-Dade suing Loria and the Marlins over profit-sharing dispute

A financial advisory firm founded by a former vice chairman of the Marlins got a $30 million cut of the Marlins sale and Loria deducted that from what would have been part of the profits shared with the county from the sale.

Again, it was in writing that Loria was allowed to do this, so how is that his fault? I hope the county loses this lawsuit big time for their ineptitude.

Here's the Herald article...

In this specific case he isn't doing anything the county/city didn't give him permission to do. I have zero problem with him taking advantage of the politician's ineptitude for this one.

Especially since politicians screw over their constituents on a daily basis. While this ultimately screws constituents in the form of tax dollars, it's the idiot politicians with egg on their face. And that's worth the tax dollars.
