I wonder if Isan should go back to AAA for a few weeks

Nah let him get some big league experience. We really don’t need to win games right now.

Losing pitcher today should be listed in the papers as Derek Jeter, who traded away a passable bullpen for uncertain future prospects at least three years away, leaving team with  no dependable relievers.   He may be having fun, but no one else, including players and fans, are.  This year, the Marlins will beat out all the other minor league teams in attendance.  Problem is they play in the National League.  But not to worry.  Major league baseball's days in Miami are numbered.

some good trolling here

They were last in attendance in 2017 with the NL MVP and SB champ and all those other players. Don't give the excuse about people boycotting Loria. I really don't get those people. They complain about the team and never even go to the games until the team is winning. And then they shout the loudest so that fans of other teams think that we have no fans.

The "dependable" relievers that got traded were a 2 month rental, a guy who literally came out of nowhere and a guy who was dropped from the rotation. There is just as much reason to think that Stanek will be successful in the pen as Nick Anderson going forward. Besides, every single player who becomes a star in the league started out as an "uncertain prospect." The reason the rebuild was even necessary was because Loria and company traded away a bunch of "uncertain prospects," a la Paddack, Castillo, German etc., who turned into stars, leaving the team with nothing to build upon.

The way you build a successful, sustainable team is by getting enough of these prospects that some of them pan out and be a part of a championship club. Ultimately the way the club is being managed is the way good clubs manage from the bottom up. In 2 or 3 years a ton of band wagoners will come back and pretend that they trusted the system the whole time and people will pretend, like with the Astros and Cubs, that these crappy teams needed to build a winner never existed. Please don't be one of those people and admit that you never had any faith when the time comes.

We lost because of an Isan Diaz error.

Did you watch the game?

The minor league season is done in like two weeks, no point. Let him take his lumps up here and learn to adjust.
