Player pool predictions

Featured Replies

Teams will need to submit a list of up to 60 players before spring training. This is the 40-man roster plus taxi squad contenders. Anyone who doesn't make the Opening Day 30-man roster, would be in the player pool.

Who do you think could be in the mix?

I don't know about the full taxi squad but the first thing that comes to mind here is that pretty much everyone who was in the mix and or on the bubble of not making the opening day roster will make the team in some form.

Anyone in our top 20 who were within 18 months of a debut.

So - Sixto, Jazz, Bleday, Cabrera, Rogers, Jesus Sanchez, Lewin ... Max Meyer probably, Vesia ... dude, our bullpen could be insane if we bring up the starters to just relieve as a bit of a short term introduction to the League.

I read some clarification on this and the Taxi Squad is actually different than the Player Pool...

So if anyone still wants to try predicting these things there's now 2 lists, the 60 man Player Pool and the 3 man Taxi Squad. The initial Player Pool needs to be set by this Sunday afternoon.
