Before the 2020 season Brinson reset himself. He got off of Social Media and tried to get all of the negativity out of the way. It worked as he had the best year of his career- not a good year, but something you can accept given how bad he had been.

And what does he do after that? He goes off modeling and getting all cocky again as if he had just won MVP and signed a long term extension. Predictably he is back to the 2017-2019 levels. His head is not there. He does not know how to work hard at bettering himself. He doesn't have the talent to perform mediocre even if he did apply himself. I don't care if we can just option him to AAA. DFA him. It is embarrassing that we are even paying this guy.

Nah just option him down again, he needs eight more shots this year. JUST to be sure.

Considering how much Kapler micromanages the game, the fact that he does not bring in a pinch hitter against Detwiler should tell you something.

We always have a lefty out of the bullpen with reverse splits.
