Unfortunately the body paint proved to be sticky enough and deemed to be used for grip enhancement. Scherzer has been suspended 10 games but has also been offered a 15 video, $40M contract from Pornhub.

Because I get it I hate this new thing and it's so annoying and stupid but I also can't stand people who think they're above everything and try and make a scene out of everything they disagree with. If this was a routine check then Max is super unprofessional here, it's not the umps faults, deal with it, grow up. Edit: Max lost his shit because Joe Girardi was calling him out multiple times so yea he had a reason for this. This is so stupid Manfred can't do anything right these days.

That's not to say the players are innocent here - they're just as much to blame, but I just don't see a scenario right now here they get along well enough to easily ratify a new CBA. Meanwhile fans and the sport will suffer/get the shaft while billionaires and millionaires argue over who gets what, which will only push more people away from the sport. I don't mean that as a knock on those that a wealthy - I don't care about that, just that they sit there bickering while average Joe who just wants to watch baseball gets kicked to the curb. Sorry, Almost went into CBA stuff, but that's another topic.....
