Michael
THE STREAK IS OVER! PabLopez with eight shutout innings followed by a perfect 9th from Louis Head. JOE DUNAND! First career swing and goes yard. Doubles his next time up. Coopahh with a huge two out two run double in the middle innings. Jazz with an insurance run driven in for the 9th before Soler (yes Jorge Soler!) blew it open with his first career grand slam. J'Daniel Day tomorrow with the hopes of a split. Entendu
Does this mean the Marlins have a positive run differential over the last 8 games?

This is how they were 12 games under .500 last season despite a positive run diff. It's usually a decent indicator for teams but as with most stats there are times when it just doesn't work. They have a bust bust bust BOOM bust bust style of offense that skews their run differential heavily from the actual results. It’s actually a sign that we have a bad manager.

The entire roster is filled with guys who don't really get on base that much but have good power. Ng hasn't really responded with signings to give it some balance. Having Don as manager only exacerbates the issue.
