Kim Ng just had to improve the offense a little bit and she brought in Avisail Garcia, Jorge Soler, and Jacob Stallings.

I am sick of WARmonger marlins fans on the internet bashing Kim. Soler/Garica/Stallings have brought a combined -1.4 WARs to the marlins this year. World leaders could learn a thing or two.

I swear the whole "veteran presence" is one the single most obnoxious and annoying tropes across all sports. When people say "they're too young to understand how to win a cup, title, etc" it's fucking idiotic. These guys have been playing in their sport across all levels and are typically hyper competitive for years and years. Now guys might "choke" but I don't see that as a purely rookieesque type thing considering it happens to ALL age groups. Give me a lineup of guys in their prime versus some grizzled vet laden roster and I'll give you title after title.
