Ironically the Double A team just won a championship but this is more about the continued failure of developing major league hitters. I'm just glad to see them making changes and, as funny as it sounds now, hopefully this is the start of Kim fully revamping the entire organization to whatever her vision is as opposed to just tagging along to whatever Jeter and Denbo left behind for her.

Ng finally getting a chance to put her true stamp on this shit show, since these are all Denbo/Jeter's guys in the minor league staff. Its been such a fucking abject failure in terms of scouting and player development in the minors. Crazy how you can go from a top 5 system to a bottom 10 without getting really any impact guys on the major league roster in a year. Great job developing players folks! Its almost impossible for whoemver replaces these folks to be less competent. ALMOST.

You can get a good idea of how your player development is going after 1-2 years anyway. Just because you dont have guys in the majors doesnt mean you cant judge where things are going. Draft guys who are talented and seem to improve on their path to the majors and thats a good indication as opposed to this stagnation or regressions galore in the Marlins system.
