This might literally be the new Marlins front office plan... and it could work!

If the Marlins get good in '23 this guy is gonna get a lot of the credit I'm sure.

That could be his primary duty. 

So Kim has three assistant GMs, one hired by her, one hired by Jeter, and one from the Loria era. Found that mildly interesting, maybe we get the right blend from each era. Brian Chattin apparently been in the organization since like 95 too, though became an upper front office guy under Loria.
