There's nobody else besides Brazoban?

The dude was demoted for sucking and his replacement comes in and has a flawless outing and suddenly Brazoban is back not 3 days later. Did they think he magically got better just by being optioned down even though he did zero work?

Chargois injury is why he's back. That's it.

Yea I got that but as asked above, how is there no one else?

By bringing up a guy who was demoted for struggling without letting him get a chance to fix anything then you're knowingly adding a bad player to your team.

I'd have at least waited a couple outings so they can say oh he worked on some things and looked good his last few games.

Yeah, he's clearly proven he sucks.  I'd rather try someone else and see what happens vs. bringing the guy back a few days later.

In typical Marlins fashion, if they had stopped the bleeding earlier, the team would've had a chance to win

Very Mattingly-esque.

In fact, completely a Mattingly style game!

But even Skip did this early on when he was, by all accounts, doing well. It's something we haven't been able to shake. They talk about how they feel the team is in every game but jeez they don't manage like it!

I don't remember him doing this all that often early in the season - in fact it seemed more like, if we were within a grand slam, he was willing to put in the better arms [IE the ones Don would only use if we had a lead] to keep it close.

Today it just seemed like the plan was Soriano for as long as possible and Weathers for as long as possible and it didn't matter what happened.

I'm not sure if he did that. I think it was more the outcome. We end up down 3-4 runs, then someone comes in and shits the bed for another 2-3 runs. Then we come back at the end of the game and lose by 1. I know it's happened this year because I didn't watch baseball last year.

That was absolutely a Don managed team thing, not so much this year. Today notwithstanding.
