Well, it was a good run while it lasted. Marlins gave a great first half that we will still be talking about 8 years from now (“remember that epic first half back in ‘23 before the epic collapse?”). It’s been a fun ride but it just wasn’t meant to be this year. Or all the other years. And thus the life of a hopeless Marlins fan. Throwing in the towel, packing up my things and heading south for the winter. Going to be a long bumpy ride but that comes with the territory. I’ll see you all on the flip side, as I ride off into the sunset and dream of better days ahead.

 

Just kidding. Marlins will sweep the Reds and be back in the Wild Card race in like 5 days.

Hey, at the very least, the Marlins got us to football season. Silver lining.

I honestly felt that with most of the deadline day deals that they were trying more for next year again instead of this year. They did the Robertson one earlier but the team continued it's spiral so at the deadline she just went after pieces she thought would be helpful next season
