A nice French restaurant has the best fries. French omelette with fries is the best.

fast food fried always taste frozen to me

Are those french fries or home fries? There is a difference.

The fact it is a French restaurant is where it really throws me off. Maybe their "home fries" are like our "French fries"

CFA's waffle fries are pretty good

Like I said in the other thread, BK's fries are gross.

i came here to say this too - plus CFA has a next level selection of dipping sauces

Checkers/Rally's USED to be good back in like the early 90's

Arby's curly fries are just behind CFA waffle fries imo (yet their regular or crinkle fries are turrible)

I don't know if I can pick a clear best, yea CFA has great fries but their mac and cheese is heavenly so I always replace the fries with the mac and cheese. But McDonald's fries still slap hard.

I think my general problem with French fries is that I rarely want a whole order of them. I'll enjoy a burger or whatever and maybe another side and then I'll eat like just a handful of fries but not finish them.

Oh has anyone had KFC's newest fries? They're pretty great.

Theres a tiny ass Chinese place that's about 30 miles from me in the hood that has the greatest fries I've ever had. They use some tempura batter on them and maybe double fry them or something? Not sure but they're like steak fry sized tempura fries.

I can take or leave ketchup on fries - if the fry is good enough, it doesn't need ketchup.

One thing I do like at burgerfi (or others) is when they put a garlic aioli and sprinkle parmesan over top - yum!

I'm not a big fan of crinkle cut fries - they automatically = frozen in my head (even if most are, there's an illusion of "fresh" when it's not crinkle cut).

Really?  I eat the whole thing of fries and usually want more lol.

McD's are about the only thing I like there, and who knows what radioactive crack they put on those things lolol.

I haven't had CFA's mac & cheese.

I haven't been to a KFC in probably a decade or more.

Someone who only wants a few fries to go with their meal is a total sociopath (or a female as they love to poach them off my supply immediately after saying "they're not hungry")

I can't fathom leaving fries behind as they're often more satisfying than the burger.
