Jeff Nelson touched on this on the pre-game and I'm really starting to agree.  Our starters just didn't get enough reps in the spring.  They were so cautious making sure that we were healthy,  that we are paying the price now. Both with pitching and hitters. Playing scared is not a recipe for winning.

RPs have a lot of variance and it’s more likely last year was the fluke with his command versus the other way around

He struggled with command, but he should of been out of that inning without giving up a run.

TA can play good defense but bat is pretty useless. Rather have berti

I think Gordon is fairly new to the OF.  He was a middle infielder coming up in the minors of I'm not mistaken.

As I said a couple of days ago.. for the first time in my life I’m actually rooting for the Yankees to win the WS. Just for Jon Berti’s sake. 😂

You could not ask for a worse start to the season. Just slowly falling apart in 3 of the first 5 games.

I think Berti was very over valued here.  He's a utility player.  That's it.  He was horrible defensively at SS.
