15-13 over their last 28 and 11-6 over their last 17.

It's almost as if the team was only playing horrendously because literally their entire starting rotation was injured, so perhaps they shouldn't have started to give up on their future on May 3?

But what do we know, right?

    Even if they played well, Daddy D was hellbent on dismantling the team before it got so expensive it might make Bruce have to raise the payroll out of the bottom 5 in MLB.  I'm sure that was Daddy D's orders before he came here.

    My preseason prediction was around .500 - pitching will keep us in games, but the lineup isn’t good enough to have us fully competitive.
    May shows just that now that the injury situation has improved.

    I think everyone except Das said they should have signed some more pitching in the offseason since injuries ALWAYS happen to starting pitching especially.

    Having sixto and puk start games was white flag stuff before the season even started
